Beginning November 2007, for the first time, the “Castle Dream Lights”, with over 200,000 LED Christmas lights (as Disneyland Paris has since 2004), covered Cinderella’s Castle and was lit nightly during a new stage show in front of the castle. The castle would look like ice and was very popular among guests during the holiday season.
The Hyperion Theater is located at Disney California Adventure, in the Hollywood Land area, adjacent to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. It currently shows Disney’s Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular. The theater can seat up to 2,000 people.
The facade is modelled after that of the now-defunct Los Angeles Theatre on LA’s Broadway.
Relax in the warm ambiance of this charming restaurant, inspired by the dining rooms of cherished National Park lodges. Dramatic murals capture the spirit and romance of the American frontier, and ornate iron lanterns are suspended from tremendous timber columns.
Echo Lake is the park’s small oval-shaped lagoon, which was designed to form one of the ears in the enormous Hidden Mickey from the park’s original layout. Surrounding it are numerous attractions and services, some in structures designed to mimic the “California Crazy” form of architecture from Hollywood’s Golden Age.
